- Shawn Rabideau has been helping couples plan their fantasy weddings for over 12 years. In that time he has found a common element in newlyweds… they are lacking in the knowledge of how to entertain for family and friends. What was once very common, entertaining at home, has become a “Lost Art” for the current generation. Past generations learned from their parents the art of gracious, inexpensive entertaining at home. However, society has evolved and family life as gone from a stay at home mom making a sumptuous dinner every night to two working parents trying to juggle their careers at the same time struggling to find time to raise their family. It is no wonder that our society has gotten away from home entertaining and that younger people have not been taught even the basics of gracious entertaining. Now, Shawn is using this blog, and his talent for everyday entertaining, to help young couples and anyone who wants to entertain at home.
